Overview

Chad’s practice primarily consists of work in the areas of Business Law, Real Estate, Estate Planning, and School Law. He routinely handles large and small real estate transactions, real estate disputes, contracts and leases, collections actions, representation of business entities and other corporate matters, and wills and trusts. Chad also focuses a large part of his practice on representing school districts, including board policies and procedures, and all stages of compulsory attendance proceedings.

Education & Past Positions

Chad graduated from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business in 2002 with his B.S. in Information Systems. He earned his J.D. cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2007.

Prior to joining the firm, Chad worked as an associate at an estate planning/real estate law firm in Castle Rock, where he handled complex real estate foreclosures, collections, and estate planning matters. He also previously acted as an intern in a legal clinic which provided free estate planning and other legal services to the elderly.

Organizations & Community Involvement

Chad is an active member of the Boulder County Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association, and is currently involved in the Business Law, Real Estate, and Trust and Estate Law Sections.
