Megan received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in May 2016, where she majored in both intercultural communication studies and German language and literature.
After working as a legal assistant in the title insurance field for three years, Megan was accepted to the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she graduated in May 2022.
During law school, Megan worked as a senior research assistant for the 2020-2021 Colorado Evidence Courtroom Manual authored by Robert Hardaway and Glen Weissenberger, worked as a teaching assistant for legal research and writing classes provided to 1L students, worked in internships involving international regulatory law, corporate law, employment law, real estate law, and construction law, and was elected Treasurer of the DU Student Chapter of Animal Legal Defense Fund.
